Sumorai Mascots (Coaches)
The Sumorai Mascots are similar to the Imperial Guard of historical Japanese emperors, bodyguards who were willing to die for their beloved leader. They were trained like no other human beings. Their discipline, along with the training of the body, mind, and soul, proved to be resistant to all challenges worldwide.

The Sumorai Mascots, too, are trained to be faithful, focused, and fearless. Being faithful means to be consistently trustworthy and loyal, especially to a person, a promise, or duty; being focused means to concentrate efforts or attention on a particular thing; and being fearless means to be resolute in the face of danger or challenges.
​
The Sumorai Mascots will use the Holy Spirit right at the beginning of their training program and continue to rely on the Holy Spirit throughout their training. They will teach our participants how to make critical decisions and how to use the spirit of wisdom and revelation to bring this to fruition.​ The Holy Spirit is their teleprompter, and a major training solution, teaching them the Fruits of the Spirit, no matter what they face.
The Sumorai Mascots are a diverse group, inadvertently launched into an amazing journey to change young people’s perspectives and thinking. They will lead this exciting new youth movement to deliver the message and train students to participate in the Sumorai Kids World Festival production, a live-action CGI motion-capture animated TV cartoon series.

Imagine being able to use the Sumorai Mascots as role models of sportsmanship, honor, respect, and non-violence - all in the context of sport and solid family entertainment - to deliver the message and to train young people while contributing directly to the well-being of children in communities worldwide! Respect, Honesty, Hard Work, Grace, and Enthusiasm are just some of the principles that are stressed by the Sumorai Mascots.​

Current Sumorai Mascots and their Key Traits:
Phil A Busta will lead the American team in this exciting new youth movement.
​
Captain of the United States team, Phil is strong-willed, outspoken and fierce. He has been selected to be Captain by the Grand Sumo Master because of the extensive physical and mental training involved. Don't let his large frame fool you - Phil is very speedy! But he can also be quick-tempered and has been known to "Phil-A-Busta" a house in less than a minute!
Phil is an incredible ally - he was number one in his class, and his passion for this new youth mission is unrivaled.
Phil A Busta’s trait is Dignity.
Mysterious, calculating, and quick, Sumo Rabbit, who claims to have been born to be an actor, was a natural selection for the Canadian team. Usually able to keep her emotions in check, she is most vulnerable when put into positions where she must rely on others for help, which isn’t often. Just like the characters of any great film noir from the 1940s, one never knows which side the Rabbit is playing, and to whose advantage. But in the end, she, like the others, just wants what is best for the Canadian team at large and has her own unique way of going about it.

Sumo Rabbit's trait is Physical Fitness.
Nutty, brilliant, and aloof, Attila the Hound has advanced intelligence which is offset by his wacky, unpredictable behavior. Attila will serve as mentor to his little "Houndis" and will lead them in this new youth movement worldwide.
Attila the Hound's trait is Respect.
Kandi Roo has shown that she is a born leader. She has been selected to attend the SUM-O-RAI Team academy of Higher Learning to become a coach, to deliver the training and overall Sumorai message. She has been selected by the Canadian team, to lead this new youth movement with her loop pops.
Kandi Roo's trait is Clean Living.
Skunky Moto was born in Tippie Toe, Mississippi, and he loves teriyaki grubs and worms. With Skunky Moto around, you kids must watch your plates for a whole different reason! He loves to leave samples of his favorite foods everywhere! His ambition is to compete in the Sumokids Comedy Show and to beat them all with his unique "aroma".
Skunky Moto’s trait is Loyalty.
Calm, concise, and brave, Sumese Cat comes from the streets of Los Angeles. She became fascinated with martial arts and space exploration when she took a camping trip with her family in the desert, and, for the first time in her young life, was able to see the stars.
She knew she wanted to make martial arts and medicine her life’s work when she watched her grandmother die of a rare blood disease and she vowed to find a cure. Her dual passions of martial arts and medicine drew her to the SUM-O-RAI Team academy of higher learning.

Sumese Cat’s trait is Grace.
The conqueror of conquerors, Genghis K-9 is assertive, highly intelligent, and resourceful. He was born into a life of luxury, as the only son of Kublai Khan, the great son of Genghis Khan.
Genghis K-9's trait is Hard Work.
